I was delighted to speak at Newcastle University - RNLI Public Lecture "Challenging the Oceans" in the presence of the CEO of the RNLI. During UK seas training with Team Tyne Innovation, we were rescued by Amble RNLI when force 5 winds and illness prevented our Ocean rowing boat from reaching shore. it was nice to give something back to such a great organisation as the RNLI.

Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) was a main sponsor of my row across the Atlantic with Team Innovation. WBD was on its own Atlantic journey merging its UK and USA businesses, so it was a great match.
